Launching of the new project for women entrepreneurship “WE -CONTRIBUTE”

On the 6th of February 2018 (Tuesday), in  Hotel Porta in Skopje starting at 13:00, was held the launching of the project “Enhancing contribution and efficiency of women’s entrepreneurship CSOs related to the EU integration reforms in the area of economic policy (“WE-Contribute”). The event was attended by 85 participants including relevant representatives from the governmental institutions and civil sector. The project manager of MIR Foundation, Ms. Emilija Andonova opened this conference with presentation of the planned  project program. It includes:

  • Training, counseling, mentoring sessions, online skills development courses
  • Formation of the first National Council for Women Entrepreneurship
  • Creation of a web portal for information related to women entrepreneurship
  • Video recording with women entrepreneurs
  • A Guide to CSOs and promotional brochures

Ms. Valentina Disoska from the Association of Business Women talked about the importance of the project for the development of women entrepreneurship and expected results, while Ms. Mary Ann Rukavina Cipetic from GTF – Sustainable Development Initiative presented the policies for women entrepreneurship and the role of civic sector in the Republic of Croatia.

All of these activities will be deployed in the coming period, until December 2018, and all interested parties will be able to find the relevant information on this website.

The project will be implemented by the Foundation for Management and Industrial Research in partnership with the Association of Business Women and the GTF Initiative for Sustainable Growth from Croatia.
