The free mobile application “InoBiz” has been created, which aims to help Macedonian companies in finding foreign partners for business cooperation, technology transfer and participation in research and development projects. This application was developed as part of the project “Enhancing competitiveness of SMEs through improved innovation support” implemented by the Foundation for management and industrial research (MIR).

Companies through the mobile application will be kept up to date with all developments in the field of innovation and technological development, will receive announcements about open calls for funding, requests from foreign companies for cooperation as well as opportunities for participation in conferences and networking events. In addition, the application contains a resource center that will offer to the companies useful content for raising their innovation capacities as well as an opportunity to assess the degree of technological readiness through the Technology self-assessment tool.

The project “Enhancing competitiveness of SMEs through improved innovation support” is funded by the European Union and implemented by the Youth Entrepreneurial Youth Foundation (YES) in partnership with MIR Foundation and ARC Fund from Bulgaria, and aims to contributed to the creation of a strong innovation climate in the country by promoting the concept of innovative businesses.

This guide provides an overview of the role of CSOs in the development of  societies, clarifies the theoretical concepts of the policy making process and highlights the main aspects of participatory policy-making, with reference to the steps and tools that they need to applied by civil organizations in the development of public policies.

The guide lists the legal framework for policy development, the benefits and risks of participatory participation, as well as the principles that need to be respected in the policy development process.

The project “Enhancing contribution and efficiency of women’s entrepreneurship CSOs related to the EU integration reforms in the area of economic policy” WE – CONTRIBUTE is implemented  by Foundation for management and industrial research in partnership with Association of business women and GTF Initiative for sustainable growth from Croatia.

One of the activities of the project that is within the line of the action plan of NCWE is the creation of the video named as “Women entrepreneurs asking”, where women entrepreneurs are asking questions important for their business and the overall improvement of the situations for women entrepreneurship and the answers are provided by representatives of relevant Ministries and other national institutions that are working in the already mention fields.

The documentary movie “I am an entrepreneur” is part of the  campaign for increasing multiethnic cooperation through the promotion of entrepreneurship, networking of entrepreneurs and other relevant stakeholders, as well as sharing successful local experiences.

In filming, 11 entrepreneurs from different ethnic background took part, 10 representatives of the civil sector who implemented local actions for their support and two representatives of the project “Together for success: young entrepreneurs, a driving force for good interethnic relations”, financed by the European Union .

The movie was premiered on November 13, 2017, at the Cinematheque of Macedonia, in Skopje, as part of the third event for networking from the campaign “I am an entrepreneur”. All activities are part of the Together for Success project implemented by the Foundation Youth Entrepreneurial Service, the Foundation for Management and Industrial Research, the Euro Center Foundation and the Millennium Citizen’s Association.
